Directions to Montague Lake

From Raleigh/Cary/Apex

- take US 1 South to Cary Parkway exit; turn left off of exit onto Cary Pkwy
Follow to Tryon Road at
a traffic light, turn right. Continue to Kildaire Farm Rd at a traffic light and turn left onto
Kildaire Farm Road. Follow to intersection with Penny Rd at a traffic light and turn left
onto Penny Rd. Go ½ mile to entrance to Montague’s Lake at 10301 Penny Road.
Follow long driveway past Montague Building Office and through the gate to the lake.
PARK ON THE GRASS ALONG THE LONG DRIVE WAY and walk to shelter.

From Durham :

- take 751 South to Rt 64 to 64 East. Stay on 64 and it becomes Tryon
Road. Turn right onto Kildaire Farm Road at a traffic light and follow as above

From Chapel Hill/ Carrboro:

- take Mount Carmel Church Road to 64 East. Stay on 64
and it becomes Tryon Road. Turn right onto Kildaire Farm Road at a traffic light and
follow as above.
