Our goal is provide members an opportunity to enjoy traditional German culture and give everyone a chance to practice their German language skills. (Don’t worry, English is perfectly acceptable and widely spoken at events!)
Special events include an autumn bonfire, a lantern parade, an evening with St. Nikolaus and Maifest. We recently began a new tradition, German movie night, featuring a kid-friendly movie in German, complete with refreshments. Our events usually feature a German book exchange, free of charge.
Admission to special events is free to members. We ask for a small donation from non-members (per family). However, it is quick and easy to join!
In addition to special events and movie nights, we traditionally offer story time at different locations throughout the Triangle.
If you are a non-member and would like to attend one of our events, please fill out the contact form to let us know what event you will be attending. There is a suggested donation of $5 per family.
