Directions to Umstead Park, Chapel Hill

from Chapel Hill:
travel on Airport Rd, out of Chapel Hill towards the I 40. Immediately after the strip mall with Foster's in it there is a traffic light. Take a left here onto Umstead Drive. Follow this road for 1/2 mile past 2 stop signs and Umstead park is on your left.

from East of Chapel Hill: Durham/Wake County
take I 40 west towards Chapel Hill. Exit at Airport Rd / (new) 86.Take a left onto 86/Airport road towards Chapel Hill. Follow this road for approximately 3 miles over 6 traffic lights. At the 7th ( where the road dips) take a right onto Umstead Drive. Follow this road for 1/2 mile over 2 stop signs and Umstead Park is on your left
