Carolina Kinder Membership
Our $60 per year per family membership provides access to regular and seasonal events, free German books, discounted language classes, and German Story time, and connection with German families throughout the Triangle.
German Cultural Events
We organize German cultural events throughout the year, including an autumn bonfire, St Martinsfest (lantern parade), an evening with St. Nikolaus, and Maifest. Our goal is provide members an opportunity to enjoy traditional German culture and practice their German language skills.
Stay up-to-date on events through our Facebook Page and our member list-serve! Non-members are welcome at events for a small fee.
Free German Books
CarolinaKinder has a library of 500+ books. Thanks goes to our many generous members that have donated their gently used books. We showcase books at many of our events. Members are free to take home as many as they would like!
German Language Lessons
CarolinaKinder offers German lessons for children and adults, introducing them to the language and culture of Germany and German-speaking countries. Older children, depending on whether they are already fluent in speaking German or are completely new to the language, may choose a reading class or an introductory class. While children are our focus, we are pleased to be able to offer adult lessons as well. Class availability is subject to teacher availability and varies each year. Members receive a discount on German classes.
German Story Time
